In the tradition of such classic races as the Geschmossel, the longest running citizen’s race in New Hampshire, and the Mt. Washington Cup, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center at Omni Mount Washington Resort is inviting all long-distance classic skiers to join them on a new journey to benefit the New England Ski Museum. 36th Annual Mount Washington Cup Cross Country Race

On the grounds of the historic Mount Washington Hotel and the White Mountain National Forest, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is one of the largest cross country areas in the East. The 100-km trail network crosses open fields, meanders through woods of spruce and fir, passes beaver ponds and mountain streams, and traverses open hardwood stands. Read more.

Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports Project

This event is a collaboration of AbilityPlus at Waterville Valley, WMASS at Loon, Bretton Woods Adaptive, Inc., Wounded Warrior Project and Disabled Sports/USA. Disabled service men and women will be hosted at local homes with skiing and skiing instruction on Thursday, March 25th at Bretton Woods, Friday, March 26th at Loon and on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Waterville Valley. There will also be après ski, banquets, awards and celebration. Please consider joining us and/or supporting this event. Bretton Woods is proud to host the finals of the Winterbike Championship Point Series 2010, presented by Ernie’s Cycle Shop. Take the NASTAR course, give it some jumps, bumps and banked turns, add four bikes and see what comes next. Pure excitement! There’s also a mountain bike big air competition before the awards ceremony, for anyone wanting to throw down. Read more.

Easter in the Mountains

Join us for our annual Easter in The Mountains traditions at Omni Mount Washington Resort. This weekend is full of Easter Bunny activities and adventure for the young and maybe not so young. Signifying the beginning of spring for many, the Easter Bunny will bound through hiding his eggs and telling a story fit for Peter Cottontail. This year enjoy a Mad Hatter Tea party that will feature some of your favorite characters from the beloved story of Alice In Wonderland while you feast on a spread fit for the Queen of Hearts herself!. Of course their will be plenty of time to decorate your Easter eggs, create magnificent Easter Bonnets and Top Hats, test your abilities in the Easter Egg Roll and of course participate in the annual Omni Mount Washington Resort Egg Hunt!
