THE MOUNT WASHINGTON HOTEL WELCOMES FRESH DESIGN AND ENHANCEMENTS AS PART OF A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR RENOVATION
BRETTON WOODS, NH – The Mount Washington Hotel, the historic all-season property located at the base of 6,288-foot Mt. Washington, is in the midst of an extensive renovation which includes an array of additions and enhancements including the addition of a new wing, the Presidential Wing, which is designed to house a new spa and meeting space facility that is scheduled to open in Winter 2008/09. Recent changes include a $2 million dollar restoration to the Hotel’s 900-foot wrap-around Veranda, Great Hall and Dining Room. The Adventure Desk was added as new customer service feature in the refurbished Great Hall. Fresh designs, new furniture and noteworthy decorations adorn The Hotel’s Great Hall and pre-function areas which highlight the importance of the Resort’s natural setting. The designers in charge of this highly-anticipated makeover, Beaty + Brown, created a visible juxtaposition between the elegance of the resort and its majestic, rugged mountain backdrop in order to bring the magnificent surrounding area into the heart of Mount Washington Resort. Guests are enveloped by a sense of the outdoors while enjoying the relaxed yet sophisticated indoors. The Resort’s deep history is honored throughout as elements of the past are woven into the many new design details.

BRETTON WOODS, NH – Mount Washington Resort, while a leader in the ski and family markets, is also redefining itself as a noteworthy location for meetings and conferences. In response to the growing demand for meeting space at the Resort, an additional 20,000 square-feet of conference space broke ground in July 2007. The new space will be designed to comfortably host meetings of any size, from the most intimate of groups up to 1,000-person events.

Mount Washington Resort - Renderings of $50 Million Revitalization
Watercolor renderings of The Mount Washington Hotel with new drive entry and porte cochere, exterior and interior of the new Spa and Conference Center, the Jewell Terrace rooftop garden, outdoor pool complex, and restored 18-hole Donald Ross-designed Mount Washington Course . The Mount Washington Course had a preview opening on August 1, 2008, the Conference Center opened in December 2008 and The Spa opened on January 22, 2009.
