2009/10 NASTAR Program
What is NASTAR?
Developed by SKI Magazine in 1968, NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) is the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world. Since the program's inception, more than 6 million skiers and snowboarders have raced NASTAR. Our mission is simple - to provide a fun, competitive and easily accessible racing program that, through the development of a handicap system, allows racers of all ages and abilities a means to compare their race results to other competitors across the country regardless of when and where they race. for full information, please check out the NASTAR website (www.nastar.com).
The Bretton Woods NASTAR race arena is located on the Bretton's Wood trail, easily visible from the Base Lodge (under the B-Lift double chair). The NASTAR probram is available every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 3pm, except for select dates where a scheduled race may supercede NASTAR operations *.
The cost for NASTAR is $5 for two runs or $10 for a full day of racing fun.
2009/10 Bretton Woods NASTAR season passes are available for $75 and may be purchased from the ski school desk, on the lower level of the Base Lodge. 603-278-3303
