2007/08

Join an Adventure Guide from the Appalachian Mountain Club for this fun and informative high-alpine, snowshoe eco-tour to the summit of Mt. Stickney or West Mountain at the Bretton Woods alpine ski area. This program involves an easy to moderate hike of about 2-3 hours.

Appropriate clothing/gear is required - some winter clothing available from AMC:

• Small Daypack for extra clothing and gear
• Sturdy winter hiking boots-no sneakers
• Wool/fleece warm hat
• Winter gloves
• Insulating upper layer (Fleece or wool jacket)
• Insulating bottom layer (Fleece or wool pants)
• Winter Jacket-Waterproof
• Winter Pants-Waterproof-no cotton/denim
• Personal first aid items
• Snack for summit
• Water bottle OR Camelback
• Sunscreen

Offered Sundays at 10am. Meet at the Guest Services desk on the main level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge.
