Bretton Woods Adaptive, Inc. (BWA) is an independant, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which offers a four-season program of sports and recreation for those with disabilities. Conveniently located on the base level of the Mountain Lodge at The Mount Washington Resort at Bretton Woods, Bretton Woods Adaptive serves the whole family making it possible for everyone to enjoy the thrills and delights of the outdoors.
BWA is a chapter of Disabled Sports/USA and partners with AbilityPLUS at Waterville Valley and New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) at Loon in the Northeast Adaptive Sports Coalition (NEASC) to provide additional recreational offerings.
A staff of well-trained and experienced volunteers supports all BWA recreational sports and activities. Our volunteers come from all over New England and are of all ages - high school students to retirees. Some volunteers have disabilities themselves and know first-hand the challenges and triumphs faced by participants and their families.
Advance reservations are required. Please contact Bretton Woods Adaptive by phone at 603.278.3398, or via e-mail at info@brettonwoodsadaptive.org.
If you can dream it, we can make it happen!
