TGIF Race League

The Bretton Woods TGIF Race Series is a seven-week race league for ages 10 and up. Races are held from 10:30am-3pm on Fridays throughout the ski season beginning January 3, 2025. Race times will be available on Live Timing. There will also be a seeding/practice race on Friday, December 20, 2024, which will not count toward division or team points. The race crew will be available to give pointers on race tactics and course inspection procedures on this date.

League members may create teams comprised of up to seven racers. Racers will be seeded in a division based on their average race times in the first two races (practice race December 20 and first race January 3.) The top 5 racers on each team will be awarded points based on where they finish in their division. Racers who are not part of a team will be assigned randomly to teams that do not have enough racers.

Registration Details

Pick up your Race League Pass as early as opening day!
Cutoff for league sign-ups will be December 31, 2024.
Racers who do not participate in the league for two weeks in a row may have their pass deactivated
with no refund.
Captains must submit team names and claim members by January 1, 2025 at noon.
The course will open at 10:30am* and close at 3:00pm. Racers will not have access to the course prior to 10:30am on race days, except for course inspection starting at 10am. Check with course crew for rules for inspecting the course. Inspections after the course opens will only be allowed at the discretion of the course crew.

Benefits

All league members receive a season pass valid open to close on each Friday of the 2024-25 ski season, beginning the day of pickup.
The pass is not valid on the following blackout dates: November 29, December 27, February 21. Exclusions apply. Racers will not be issued tickets, vouchers, or receive any other compensation for missed days.
Races are held in the recreation race area. Race formats may include, but are not limited to, Giant Slalom, Dual GS, and Slalom.
Alpine skiers, telemark skiers, and snowboarders are welcome to participate. Minimum age requirement of 10 years old by the first practice race.
All racers are required to sign a liability waiver online before participation. Under 18 years old must have waiver signed by a legal parent or guardian.

Race Cancellation Info

We attempt to notify racers of any cancellations via email by 8am the day of the race.
