Bretton Woods Nordic Center

At the base of Mt. Washington in the Ammonoosuc Valley you will find the Bretton Woods Nordic Center. The Nordic Center is the perfect place to start and end your Nordic adventures in Bretton Woods. Here you can pick up your trail pass, rental equipment or grab a quick snack from The Grille. The Bretton Woods Nordic Center has beautiful and expansive view of the Presidential Mountain Range and is your gateway to 100 km of trails, 50% of trails located in the White Mountain National Forest.

The Bretton Woods Nordic Center is located up the main driveway for Mount Washington Resort. Follow signs as you near the hotel for a left turn. Located at 210 Mt. Washington Hotel Road, the Nordic Center is  complete with cross country ski and snowshoe rentals, ski school, ski repair, waxing rooms, The Grille and TreeTop Nordic shop.

Hours

Currently, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center is open daily from 8am - 4:30pm for TreeTop retail only. Trails are open 8:30am - 4pm.

TreeTop Nordic Shop

TreeTop Nordic Shop, located in the Nordic Center, has plenty of wool socks, hand warmers, hats and soft goods to keep you in style and eager to explore the 100-km trail network at Bretton Woods.

The Grille

The Grille is currently closed but will open for the 2022-2023 winter season as conditions warrant.

Bretton Woods Nordic & Snowshoe Rentals

Please be advised that rentals require advance online reservations 48 hours prior to arrival date. Renters and equipment users under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All renters will need to sign a release waiver and accept or decline damage waiver which covers all damage to skis or board, except for theft. If renting equipment for children, be sure to know their accurate height, weight and age before you begin the online process. Please call 603-278-3322 for additional information or to make your reservations for your upcoming visit.
