RFID Ticketing Process
Bretton Woods Ski School
We're thrilled to announce that Bretton Woods Ski Resort has moved to RFID ticketing and season passes for the 2024/2025 winter season. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology will provide quick and effortless access to your favorite trails, offering a simplified experience. Gone are the days of waiting in line and dealing with paper lift tickets, as the RFID card becomes your reloadable ticket or season pass. To access the lifts, all guests will need a reloadable RFID card, which serves as your go-to pass for the entire season. Your first RFID card is complimentary, when purchased online. A fee of $5 will be charged per card if pickedup in person or for per replacement card.
Step 1: Purchase or Reload Your Passes Online
Visit store.brettonwoods.com to choose your ticket or pass. All lift tickets must be purchased online. Prices vary and are subject to change without notice. The price of a day ticket increases as the date approaches, so buy early to save. Lift tickets and season passes purchased online or at the resort are loaded onto an RFID card. If purchasing several products at once, be sure to assign each product to the guest using it. Each guest must have their own RFID card. After checkout, you will receive a confirmation email containing QR code(s).
Purchase Tickets
Step 2: Locate a PUB Kiosk to Scan QR Code
First time using RFID? You’ll need to pick up one card per person at a Pick Up Box (PUB) kiosk. PUB kiosks are conveniently located inside and outside the Base Lodge at Bretton Woods, as well as near the Concierge Desk in the hotel lobby. Use the scanner on the kiosk to scan the QR code(s) from your confirmation email.
Step 3: Receive Your RFID Card
Your RFID card will be printed, and your pre-purchased tickets or passes will be pre-loaded. Please note that you will need one RFID card per person. Season passes can also be picked up at the Guest Services Desk or the Season Pass Office, located on the chairlift level of the Base Lodge.
Step 4: Display RFID Card on Outer Left of Jacket
RFID cards need to be displayed on the outer left side of your jacket. This allows our scanners to pick up the frequency and enables a smooth and steady loading process at each lift. Keep mobile phones, credit cards, car keys, and other objects away from the location of the RFID card to minimize interference.
Step 5: Hop on a Lift and Go Shred the Trails
Once you have your pre-loaded RFID card, you’re ready to board our chairlifts or the Skyway Gondola. After your visit, hang on to your card for future trips. Future online purchases will be automatically loaded onto your card, saving you time and getting you to the slopes faster.
