Accessibility at Bretton Woods

From Bretton Woods Ski Area to the Omni Mount Washington Resort property, we want everyone to have access to the great outdoors and activities that are offered year round. With Bretton Woods being named #2 Top Overall Ski Resort in the East this year, plus #1 in the East for grooming and lifts, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience why so many people keep coming back year after year.

Our base lodge is equipped with an elevator and automatic doors to access the ground level all the way to our Slopeside dining area. 

Access to snow sports for all
New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) at Bretton Woods is an independent organization providing adaptive sport instruction to adults and children with physical and cognitive disabilities. From adaptive alpine skiing, snowboarding, Nordic skiing and snowshoeing, you want it, we got it. Conveniently located on the base level of the Bretton Woods Base Lodge, NEDS at Bretton Woods makes it possible for everyone to experience the thrills and delights of the outdoors. Our programs allow individuals with disabilities to enjoy a boundary-free environment, participate in outdoor recreation with friends and family, as well as provide access to equipment and instruction that might otherwise be unavailable. From a first time athlete to the most experienced, we have something for you.

Looking for snow sports alternatives?
Our Skyway Gondola is open for scenic rides and is wheelchair accessible via a carpet path our team places over the snow to make it a smoother transition. Once you get to the summit, the unloading platform is heated, so no need to worry about ground snow up top! Our Rosebrook Lodge is outfitted with automatic doors and an elevator bringing you a front row view while staying warm next to the fire place.

Service animals
Animals must be on leashes while on property and you are responsible for cleaning up after them. Service animals are allowed indoors while on property, however, personal pets are not. This includes the Base Lodge and the Rosebrook Lodge.
