The 12-minute ride takes you to the summit where you will find breathtaking views and on-mountain dining options at the Switchback Grille, Crystal Hills, or Peaks Café inside the Rosebrook Lodge. Rosebrook Lodge Dining
The Rosebrook Lodge, winner of Hospitality Design Magazine's 2022 Annual HD Awards for event spaces, sits at the summit of the Bretton Woods Ski Area, taking in stunning panoramic views of Mount Washington and the entire Presidential Range. Inside the lodge, you will find several dining options including the Switchback Grille and Peaks Café. The Crystal Hills event space is available for larger group gatherings and weddings through reservation.

Please note that a scenic gondola ride ticket does not guarantee seating at Switchback Grille. Limited seating is first come, first served. Wait times can be expected on peak days. Please plan accordingly. Dates, hours and seasonal activities subject to change. Scenic tickets may not be used for skiing, snowboarding or other activities that require a trail pass.

Summit Hiking Trails
West Mountain Hiking Trail
Follow small rock cairns across the rock ledges to a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Zealand Valley and Pemigewasset Wilderness. Views to the right are of Vermont and ski trails on Mount Mansfield. Easy to moderate hike starting to the right of the gondola summit. Follow the hiking trail markers and snowshoe signs. Near the summit of West Mountain the trail levels off and heads left. Summer only.
Length: 1.6 miles out and back
Elevation gain: 510 feet
Two Miles Home Hiking Trail:
Follow the Two Miles Home ski trail and hiking sign markers. The trail winds around the outer boundary of the ski area from the base of the gondola to/from the summit. Summer only.
Length- 2 miles one-way
Elevation gain- 1300 feet

Accessibility
The Skyway Gondola is wheelchair accessible year-round. In the winter, our team places a carpet-like path over the snow to assist with a smoother transition. At the summit, the unloading platform is flush and heated, so no need to worry about ground snow up top! Our Rosebrook Lodge is outfitted with automatic doors and an elevator bringing you a front row view.
Have a pet?
Bring them along on the gondola ride. Animals must be on leashes while on property and you are responsible for cleaning up after them. Service animals are allowed indoors while on property, however, personal pets are not. This includes the Base Lodge and the Rosebrook Lodge.
Cancellation policy: All orders are charged in full at the time of the reservation. Changes or cancellations made 48 hours prior to arrival date are fully refundable. Changes or cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival date are non-refundable and non-changeable. Please pay careful attention to local weather forecasts for any outdoor activities if you feel that you do not want to participate in certain weather conditions. You will not be given a refund or a gift certificate if you are late or do not show up for your activity. If your activity is cancelled by Bretton Woods due to weather or other unforeseeable conditions, you will receive a full refund or have the opportunity to reschedule. We will make every attempt to contact you at least 48 hours ahead of time however; this 48-hour notice may not always be possible due to the unpredictable nature of the weather in New Hampshire.
