Find the equipment you need to conquer the slopes of Bretton Woods, from skis and boards to boots and poles. Our rental fleet includes top ski and snowboard brands, maintained and expertly fitted to give you confidence on the slopes.

Online Reservation Requirements

Reservations should be made online 24 hours in advance for best available price. During checkout, be prepared with the following information for each renter:

  • Height, weight, and shoe size
  • Skier or snowboarder ability level

Equipment Pick-Up

Your rental gear will be pre-set based on the information provided during booking. For questions or special requests, please email the Rental Shop at [email protected] at least 24 hours before arrival. Rentals can be extended at time of pickup or by email, subject to availability.

Optional Early Rental Pickup: Rental equipment may be picked up at the rental shop between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm the day before.

Rentals FAQs

  • Yes. However, advanced reservations made through the Bretton Woods eStore are encouraged. Rentals made online in advance will have the best available price.

  • Guests can pick up their reserved equipment the day before based on availability. Next-day pickup is only available from 2:00–4:00 pm for the following day.

  • All equipment is due back 30 minutes after lifts close.

  • Anyone picking up equipment who is under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them to sign a release waiver.

  • Guests may use their own boots or skis. Skis or boots must pass inspection and be indemnified in order to be used. Inspections must be done in person. Be aware there is no separate price for skis or boots only. All rentals involving skis and boots are at the full price.

  • Yes. Poles and helmets can be rented separately. Visit our rental shop on the day you need these items.

  • The rental shop is open 1 hour prior to lifts opening and 30 minutes after lifts are closed.

  • When returning equipment, please enter through the back of the rental shop in the “Return” area.

  • It is recommended that guests with lessons pick up equipment an hour before their lesson. This ensures enough time to get fitted, put gear on, and be outside on snow in time. Rental equipment is not included with lessons and must be purchased separately.

Tune-Up Services

Ensure your equipment is always ready for the slopes with our expert tune-up services.

Basic Tune

A pass on the wet belt sander to clean the base, then a pass on the wet belt edger to sharpen, followed by a pass on the belt waxer to help your equipment glide better. Finally, tips and tails are finished to prevent hooking edges when you don’t want to.

Deluxe Tune

Belt grind and stone grind with ceramic disc edging and hand wax, followed up with a detune.
