Do I need a trail pass to use the Nordic trails?

Yes. A valid Nordic trail pass is required for skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking. Passes can be purchased daily or with a season membership.

Are rentals available at the Nordic Center?

Yes. Nordic ski equipment, snowshoes, and fat bikes are available for rent. Rentals should be reserved in advance online through the Bretton Woods E-Store.

Does the Nordic Center offer lessons?

Yes. We offer both private and group lessons for classic skiing, skate skiing, and snowshoeing. Lessons are available for children and adults.

Can I bring my dog on the trails?

Dogs are not permitted on the groomed Nordic trails, but there may be designated pet-friendly areas nearby. Please check with the Nordic Center staff before bringing pets.

The Bretton Woods Ski Area offers a wide variety of alpine terrain suitable for all skill levels, including beginner-friendly, intermediate, and expert-level slopes. One of the largest cross-country ski areas on the East Coast, we also offer over 80 kilometers of Nordic ski trails.
The Bretton Woods Ski Area does NOT offer night skiing or riding. Information that suggests we do, please consider the source, the publication date, and disregard as the information is outdated and unaffiliated with the Bretton Woods Ski Area.
Visitors to Bretton Woods can choose between day passes, multi-day passes, and season passes available at varying rates based on date and advance purchase. You can find more information on availability and rates here.
The Bretton Woods Ski Area does not sell tickets through any unapproved third-party vendors. Any ticket purchased from anyone other than Bretton Woods Ski Area, Omni Hotels and Resorts, and approved third-party vendors will not be honored.

Be sure to book in advance, as rentals require advance online reservations at least 24 hours prior to your arrival date.
