Bretton Woods Forecasted Snow Report for Tuesday, February 17th, 2026
Keep the Momentum Rolling: If you’re lucky enough to be out here with us tomorrow, you’re in for a treat. The holiday weekend might be winding down, but the snow certainly isn’t. We’re looking at a classic New England morning tomorrow with plenty of clouds and perhaps some light snow showers and flurries to keep things feeling fresh, especially before lunch. The temperatures are staying in that sweet spot, and perhaps slightly above in the afternoon. It will be comfortable enough to stay out all day, and you might even need to shed a layer as the temperatures warm to the mid 30s by the time the lifts close. We’re still riding high on that massive 19-inch dump from last week, and with 470 acres of wall-to-wall coverage, the mountain is looking as healthy as ever. It’s the kind of day where the glades are soft, the trails are wide open, and the vibe is just right.
Mountain Notes: Everything is a go tomorrow. We’ve got every lift running and 100% of our terrain open for business. If you’ve been sticking to the main runs, tomorrow is a perfect day to venture into the trees; the coverage is deep enough that you can really trust your edges. After you’ve had your fill of the morning flurries and worked up an appetite, make sure to swing by the Slopeside Pub. ‘The Portsmouth Rave Project’ is on stage from 2-5 PM—they always put on an electric show, and there’s no better way to cap off a day on the hill than some dancing with a cold pint.
Operational Summary: We’re sticking to the usual holiday schedule tomorrow morning, with 8 lifts starting their climb at 8:00 AM. For those heading over to the T-Bar, look for that to start moving at 9:00 AM. Our grooming crew will be out there overnight, laying down fresh strips of that famous Bretton Woods corduroy. Between the overnight grooming and the light snow expected, the surface is going to be incredibly forgiving and a blast to carve.
Pro Tip: Tuesday morning is often the “hidden gem” of a long weekend—the crowds start to thin out, but the conditions are still peak. If you haven’t grabbed your passes yet, do it online before you arrive to skip the ticket window lines. Toss an extra lens in your pocket for the flat light in the morning, check the summit cams to see how the clouds are sitting, and we’ll see you at the lifts for first chair!
For tomorrow, Tuesday, February 17: Expect mostly cloudy skies with snow showers and flurries, occurring mostly in the morning. It will be a milder day overall, with temperatures climbing above freezing at the base.
The base will reach a high of 35°F (3:00 PM) after an early low of 24°F. The summit will hit a high of 30°F and a low of 22°F. Winds will remain very light and variable at under 5 mph at the base, while the summit will see a SW breeze at 5–10 mph during the day, shifting to W-NW at 10–18 mph overnight.
