Update for Monday, December 8th, 2025, forecasted at 2:00 pm
The weekend at The Woods concludes in a lazy Sunday with good times and great lines! For Monday, we can expect the brand-new BEQ-II to continue to spin smooth giving skiers & riders’ quick access to the mid-Mount Rosebrook area. Can’t beat that new lift smell! —is what I would say if it had any smell. The cold temperatures will also continue to persist maintaining excellent snow conditions. We will have a solid half of all open trails featuring fresh, natural snow, like the black-diamond Dave’s Drop and the newly opened Glade West. Thanks to our recent natural snowfall, you can get into the trees and out of the crowds! Please be aware that these are ungroomed, natural snow trails. We ask all skiers and riders to use extra caution and be aware of variable conditions within the glades.
The rest of the mountain is blanketed in beautiful, consistent packed powder, and our crews have laid down pristine corduroy on favorites like Range View, Upper Swoop, Big/Bigger Ben, and Crawford’s Blaze. With a deep base ranging from 12 to 32 inches, the mountain is in excellent shape for the first Monday in December.
As we are all excited about the fresh, natural snow we have received, it would all be for naught without the talent and determination of our coveted snow-making crew, which will now be hard at work on Cascade, High Ridge, Panorama, Upper Swoop, Bretton’s Wood, and Rosebrook Lane.
Tomorrow we will have 4 lifts operating and 23 trails/glades open with a machine groomed/packed powder snow surface. Lifts will operate from 9 AM until 3:30 PM. The Gondola is running for both skiing/riding access and Scenic Rides (9 AM – 2 PM) up to the Rosebrook Lodge which will be open for bathrooms and warming
As many of our wonderful amenities begin to open, stay up-to-date on our Hours of Operation page.
Uphill Skiers and Riders: We are allowing uphill access on Range View. Please skin up on the right side and have your ticket or season pass available if asked. We kindly remind you that uphill travel is only permitted during lift operating hours. We appreciate everyone respecting the open/closed status as our team works hard to get more trails open for you.
Unlock the quiet weekdays and discover your best riding this season! Escape the crowds and secure your advantage by booking a Private Lesson with one of our highly rated pros for the upcoming week. Plus, guaranteeing the lowest rates is simple: secure your lift tickets, season pass, and gear rentals online now. This pre-purchase option is your fastest, smoothest path directly to the slopes—skip the line and carve out more time on the snow.
Snow Reporter’s recommendation—Your snow stashes are likely to be found at Glade West and on Herbs Secret. with an expected overnight snow accumulation, the groomers will be fast, and the unpacked natural trails will be great for nice turns.
We can’t wait to see you on the slopes soon!
