Does your rental shop ever sell out?

We may sell out during peak times. Advanced reservations are encouraged.

Can we pick up rental equipment early?

Guests can pick up their reserved equipment the day before based on availability. We recommend calling ahead to make sure your equipment is ready. Next-day pickup is only available from 2–4pm for the following day. Please call 603-278-3310 to arrange an early pick up.

What time are my rentals due back at the end of the day?

All equipment is due back 15 minutes after lifts close.

Nordic Rentals & Repairs

The difference between a good day on the trails and a great one often comes down to having the right gear. Whether classic skiing, skate skiing, or snowshoeing, the Bretton Woods Rental Shop can help outfit you for a day of unforgettable outdoor adventure. Our meticulously maintained rental fleet includes top ski and snowshoe brands, along with boots, poles, and everything you need to explore one of the largest cross-country ski areas on the East Coast.

Reservations must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your visit. During checkout, you’ll choose your equipment pick-up time. Be prepared with the following information for each renter:
- Height, weight, shoe size, and head circumference
- Skier ability level
- Optional: preferred ski and boot sizes (enter when prompted)
Your rental gear will be pre-set based on the information provided during booking. For questions or special requests, please email the Rental Shop at [email protected] at least 24 hours before arrival. Rentals can be extended at time of pickup or by email, subject to availability.
Optional Early Rental Pickup: Rental equipment may be picked up at the rental shop between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm the day before.

Tune-Up Services

Our expert tune-up services ensure your equipment is always ready to take on the trails.

Basic Tune

A pass on the wet belt sander to clean the base, then a pass on the wet belt edger to sharpen, followed by a pass on the belt waxer to help your equipment glide better. Finally, tips and tails are finished to prevent hooking edges when you don’t want to.

Deluxe Tune

Belt grind and stone grind with ceramic disc edging and hand wax, followed up with a detune.
