Nordic Rentals & Repairs

The difference between a good day on the trails and a great one often comes down to having the right gear. Whether classic skiing, skate skiing, or snowshoeing, the Bretton Woods Rental Shop can help outfit you for a day of unforgettable outdoor adventure. Our meticulously maintained rental fleet includes top ski and snowshoe brands, along with boots, poles, and everything you need to explore one of the largest cross-country ski areas on the East Coast.

  • Reservations must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your visit. During checkout, you’ll choose your equipment pick-up time. Be prepared with the following information for each renter:

    • Height, weight, shoe size, and head circumference
    • Skier ability level
    • Optional: preferred ski and boot sizes (enter when prompted)

  • Your rental gear will be pre-set based on the information provided during booking. For questions or special requests, please email the Rental Shop at [email protected] at least 24 hours before arrival. Rentals can be extended at time of pickup or by email, subject to availability.

    Optional Early Rental Pickup: Rental equipment may be picked up at the rental shop between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm the day before.

Rentals FAQs

  • Yes. However, advanced reservations made through the Bretton Woods eStore are encouraged. Rentals made online in advance will have the best available price.

  • We may sell out during peak times. Advanced reservations are encouraged.

  • Guests can pick up their reserved equipment the day before based on availability. Next-day pickup is only available from 2:00–4:00 pm for the following day.

  • All equipment is due back 30 minutes after lifts close.
