BRETTON WOODS CLUB MEMBERS TAKE FIRST CHAIR ON NEW BEQ II “BECKY” LIFT 

BRETTON WOODS, N.H. (December 6, 2025)—Bretton Woods Club Members helped celebrate a major milestone this weekend as the resort officially opened the brand-new Bethlehem Express Quad II (BEQII) chairlift, affectionately nicknamed “Becky.” The high-speed quad is now spinning, giving skiers and riders faster access to expanded terrain and exceptional early-season conditions.

The BEQII serves as a key enhancement for the 2025 winter season, offering a smooth, efficient ride to some of the mountain’s most popular terrain. Several Club Members had the honor of securing both first chair and first tracks of the day.

Early-season operations are off to a strong start with 23 inches of natural snowfall to date, base depths ranging from 12 to 32 inches, and 4 lifts and 20 trails open, including 9 with fresh natural snow.  “Crisp, gorgeous machine-groomed corduroy with fresh powder stashes everywhere,” said Brad Shedd, veteran groomer at Bretton Woods Ski Area.
