Explore 100 km of Tranquil Winter Trails

Immerse yourself in the tranquility of winter in Bretton Woods on a snowshoeing adventure through the 100-km Valley Trail System or scenic high-country trails. A classic winter pastime, snowshoeing is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, and offers a fun, memorable way to embrace the magic of the season with little to no learning curve. Bring your own snowshoes or rent a pair from the Bretton Woods Nordic Center, your gateway to adventure on the trails all winter long.

  • Trails Open Daily

    8:30 am–4:00 pm

    Weather permitting

  • Trail passes are available for purchase at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center, and are required in order to access Bretton Woods’ 100-km Valley Trail System. For access to the Mountain Road, high-country trails, and terrain services by the Bethlehem Express Quad, an additional pass is required.

  • Snowshoe rentals are available at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center daily from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, weather permitting. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own snowshoes to explore our 100-km network of trails (note that a trail pass is required).
