Thanksgiving Celebration 2023

The Omni Mount Washington Resort invites you to join us as we celebrate Thanksgiving with a week of food, activities, and fun for the whole family! The celebration kicks-off Wednesday afternoon with events for all ages and wraps up on Sunday morning. With the Presidential Mountain Range as your backdrop and fall in the air, join us for this annual celebration. And bring your skis because Bretton Woods Ski Area could be open!

Family Activities
Find cards, puzzles and other board games throughout the Great Hall and Conservatory. Grab your family and settle in to spend time with the ones you love.

Annual Turkey Trot - 5K Fun Run/Walk
Break out your best turkey suite (or other Turkey Day running costumes) and run, don’t wobble, so you can gobble later! This fun race is for families who like a little competition. Prizes will be given out for the best Turkey Trot apparel!

97th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade
Watch this holiday classic, live from New York City, on television in the Rosebrook Bar and the Princess Room.

Enjoy a delectable holiday meal with family and friends prepared by our award-winning culinary team and served buffet style in the stunning Grand Ballroom of the Omni Mount Washington Hotel.

Build your own 14” holiday wreath with fresh cedar, pine, Fraser fir and balsam with greenhouse artist, Lori Wescott. Premium decorations included.

5k Turkey Trot
All Day
Lace up the sneaks and head out into the fresh air after a day of feasting. Grab your family for a causal friendly competition with your starting line at the main entrance, following arrows to make two loops around the property.

Family Activities
All Day
You and your family will finds cards, puzzles and other board games throughout the Great Hall and Conservatory. Pull up a chair and settle in to spend time with the ones you love.

Baby Trot

Holiday Crafts Table

Make two holiday ornaments to hang on your tree with craft extraordinaire, Chelsey LaFleur.

This sultry songbird is the only one we know who can softly coo and rock the wagon wheels too. Her singing soul re-imagines a range of covers we love.

Gingerbread House Craft

T’was the night before Christmas at a palace in the woods, did you hear the pitter-patter of little feet or were they hooves? Join Santa and Mrs. Claus for storytime following breakfast.

Paint & Sip

Tis the season for relaxation and making memories. Painting with Elaine Gabriel is more fun than geese gaggling on the golf course! Advance sign-up recommended at the Concierge Desk, but walk-ins welcome if space available.

Animal Encounters

Meet the world’s most amazing animals including an arctic fox who just turned white! Learn about what they eat and where they come from. Get up close, pet them and ask their handler questions.

Speakeasy Tour & Tales

Author, Adam Krakowski, shares prohibition tales from the North Country. Tour The Cave and enjoy a cup of “Prohibition Punch” in the famous Mount Washington speakeasy bar.
