Property Policy

To all our valued Bretton Woods skiers & riders- we are excited for a long and snowy 2022-23 alpine and nordic ski season! With last year's challenging season behind us, we want to thank everyone for understanding and for working together to ensure a safe and successful ski season!

There will continue to be some necessary changes in the way the resort will operate for the 2022-23 season. Our policies and operating plans are being developed in accordance with State and Local guidelines and will be reevaluated frequently. Please check these pages regularly and prior to visiting Bretton Woods this winter.

Bretton Woods and Omni Property Drone (UAV) Policy

Out of safety concerns for guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Omni Mount Washington Resort prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public – including recreational users and hobbyists.

This prohibition includes drones used for filming or photography, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within Omni Mount Washington Resort boundaries.  This prohibition on drone operations or use extends to any drones launched or operated from Resort property, as well as drones launched from private property outside of the Resort boundaries.

Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your skiing or snowboarding privileges, or the revocation of your season pass, as well as confiscation of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.

Bretton Woods Ski Area Uphill Policy

Those who wish to skin, snowshoe, or otherwise access Bretton Woods trails via uphill travel are responsible for their own actions, safety and equipment. Individuals must purchase an uphill access ticket for $22.00 at the outside ticket window.

Please note: Uphill traffic is only allowed during normal hours of operation and last uphill trek stops one hour prior to the lifts closing for the day.

Unmarked hazards may be encountered at any time including construction areas, heavy equipment and other man-made objects. Natural variable snow conditions will exist. Sledding is not permitted. For additional information regarding our policies please contact Bretton Woods Guest Services at 603-278-3320.
