Halloweekend

Join us for Halloweekend 2026, a two-day Halloween celebration at Omni Mount Washington Resort & Spa. From creative craft rooms and pumpkin carving contests to hayrides, a costume parade, and our annual adults only bash at The Cave, there’s frightful fun for every age. All activities are subject to change.

    Get creative and bring out your spooky side. Create your favorite Halloween characters and sport some frightful accessories.

    Halloween Hayrides
    Hop on for a Halloween hayride filled with festive fun, spooky sights, and seasonal surprises around every turn. Wagons fit multiple families, up to 14 people per ride.

    • Resort Guests: $25 adults, $15 children
    • Public Rate: $30 adults, $20 children

    Monster Cookie Decorating
    Create your own signature Halloween cookies in the lobby.

    Halloween Scavenger Hunt
    Go on an adventure around the hotel with our Halloween scavenger hunt. Prizes for all. The first place winner receives a grand prize.

    7 PM – Midnight
    Halloween Movie Night Marathon
    The marathon gets progressively spookier as the night goes on.

    Pumpkin Carving Contest
    Available all day Oct 30 and Oct 31. Pumpkins available for carving at Pres Patio for a fee. Completed pumpkins are brought to the Lobby for judging. Winners announced Friday evening.

    Face Painting
    Transform into your favorite Halloween character with complimentary face painting. Our artist brings your Halloween vision to life with festive and frightful designs.

    Announcements
    Show off your carving skills and check out the creative designs. Cast your vote for your favorite and help decide who takes home the top prize.

    Show off your costumes through the resort. Walk through retail and food outlets as they cheer you on and hand out candy for a festive evening of sweet treats and spooky fun. All retail and F&B outlets are given buckets of candy to hand out.

    Spirits After Dark – Mount Washington’s Annual Halloween Bash at The Cave
    Get ready for our annual Halloween Costume Party at The Cave at Mount Washington Resort & Spa. Experience The Cave like never before as it transforms into a haunting Halloween hotspot for one unforgettable night. Show off your creativity and bring your A game for our costume contest, where you can compete for the Grand Prize. Dance the night away as DJ Kev spins the biggest Halloween hits, and enjoy a full bar featuring specialty Halloween themed cocktails. Plus, take part in festive games and other spooky surprises throughout the evening. Please note: a valid photo ID is required for entry. 21+ event. Costumes are strongly encouraged.
