Step into the art of fly-fishing with a “teach by terrain” clinic on the Ammonoosuc River. Led by an experienced guide, this two-hour introduction covers the fundamentals of fly-casting, selecting the right fly for your quarry, and reading the river to find the most productive spots to cast a line. All necessary equipment is provided, including rod and flies.
Waders are not included. Closed-toe water shoes are strongly recommended for guests without their own.
Requirements
- Open to ages 13 and older
- All participants 16 and older must present a valid NH State Fishing License. Licenses can be purchased in advance at the NH Fish and Game website, or at the beginning of your clinic by credit card. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early to purchase on-site
- A parent or guardian must be present to sign a waiver for participants under 18
- Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
